The 2025 NFL Draft will begin in just a few hours, and the LSU Tigers have multiple draftees who are ready to hear their names called this weekend. Will Campbell is the only one expected to come off the board on Thursday, but there could be another surprise who sneaks into the back of the first round.
I will update this article throughout the weekend when players are drafted with a brief description of their fit with the team who selected them.
As of Thursday morning, there's a ton of buzz surrounding Will Campbell and the New England Patriots, who own the fourth pick in the draft. There's a high chance he comes off the board in the top-five, but even if the Patriots pass on him, there are a lot of teams in the top-10 (i.e. New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears) who could have their eyes on an offensive tackle.
There's also been some buzz around Mason Taylor sneaking into the back end of the first round. Most have him as a second round prospect, but there are some tight end needy teams in the back end of the first. The Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles both have some concerns around the future of their starting tight ends, so Taylor could be an option at 27 or 32.
Some other LSU prospects who are expected to be selected this weekend include Bradyn Swinson, Emery Jones Jr., Miles Frazier, Sai'vion Jones, Garrett Dellinger and Zy Alexander.
Will have more updates on rumors and selections for LSU prospects as the weekend progresses!
