The NFL combine kicked off in full force on Thursday with linebackers and defensive linemen taking part in workouts and positional drills.

On Friday, it was time for defensive backs and tight ends. Colorado two-way star and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter revealed he would not participate in workouts or drills at the combine.

Instead, Hunter and teammate Shedeur Sanders will participate in the Big 12 Conference Pro Day in March in Frisco, Texas.

Still, Hunter is in Indianapolis, and his official measurements were revealed on Friday, per NFL reporter Daniel Jeremiah

  • Height: 6 feet, 3/8 inch
  • Weight: 188
  • Hand: 9 1/8
  • Arm: 31 3/8
  • Wing: 76 7/8

Hunter's measurements were a talking point right away as some took notice of his weight.

"There were concerns he might be in the 170s. So checking in at 188, and over 6-foot, is a nice win for him. Indicates he could be sturdy enough to take on a big workload, and potentially play both ways," NFL reporter Albert Breer wrote

"Great weight for him," Jeremiah wrote

It's a good sign for Hunter, who has been widely discussed in the top-five realm of the 2025 NFL Draft with some having him as the No. 1 pick, including Pro Football Focus in late January.

Although Hunter won't participate in drills in Indianapolis, these measurements seem to be gaining a positive reaction Friday.
