ASU women’s golf moves up rankings

Arizona State University women’s golf made an impressive statement on the course during its appearance at the 2025 PING/ASU Invitational. The Sun Devils secured the title with a dominant 13-stroke victory, marking the program’s 28th win in the history of the event.  

ASU not only claimed its third title of the season but also set a new tournament record with a final score of 36-under 828. The team’s success was highlighted by an outstanding performance from Patience Rhodes, who finished as the runner-up with a score of 9-under 207.  

The Sun Devils have showcased their multi talent with this remarkable performance, setting the stage for their next big challenge. From April 15-17, ASU will compete in the Big 12 Championship.  

Before the Big 12 Championship, ASU’s Beth Coulter and Patience Rhodes will compete in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this weekend.  

Not to mention, on top of all these great achievements, ASU women’s golf has also moved up in the rankings—jumping from No. 9 to No. 8 in the NCAA women’s golf rankings . With the Sun Devils’ dominant victory at the 2025 PING/ASU Invitational, we have only seen a foreshadowing of the talent ASU brings as it awaits its next challenge.
