The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Annual Player Contracts for Team India (Senior Men) for the 2024-25 season, which will run from October 1st, 2024, to September 30th, 2025.

A total of 34 players have been awarded contracts across four category tiers, with Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja part of the elite A+ category.

This will also be the maiden contracts for Abhishek Sharma, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Varun Chakravarthy, all of whom are in Grade C.

The BCCI is the primary governing body for cricket in India. It oversees four national teams: the men's and women's national cricket teams, as well as the men's and women's national under-19 cricket teams. 

It also manages developmental teams such as India A, India B, and India A women. The national selection committee, led by the chief selector, is responsible for choosing players for these teams. Additionally, the BCCI organizes and schedules matches for each team and manages domestic cricket tournaments across India.
