20 of Michelle Trachtenberg’s best roles

Many things set up millennials to be true crime-obsessed adults, from Unsolved Mysteries on sick days to the hilarity of Cops. However, if one were to point a finger at what — or actually, who — is the number one reason, it’s Harriet the Spy . Played by Michelle Trachtenberg, Harriet introduced a generation to mystery solving. She grew up with her fans from Buffy to Gossip Girl and everything in between. Sadly, Michelle Trachtenberg, 39, suddenly died on February 26, 2025, leaving an impressive body of work. In honor of her life and legacy, here are Michelle Trachtenberg's best roles.

In between the sights and sounds, there is good, old-fashioned, comedic debauchery.
