Prime Video's series Swarm tells the story of a young girl (Dre) who is obsessed with a pop star and part of the artists' fanbase called "The Swarm." Although fictional, this show draws inspiration from Beyoncé and her dedicated fan base, who has been known to defend the singer. In the show, Dre experiences the highest of highs and lowest of lows, and we're there to witness it all.

Kerry Washington seems to ace every character a director throws her way. In the Hulu series UnPrisoned, she plays a marriage therapist who struggles with her personal relationships. Because her father was in prison during her childhood, she now has to face the noise, and things are far from easy.

50 Cent and Courtney A. Kemp created something Black households have loved since 2014. I'm talking about Power. The Starz series follows a savage drug dealer named Ghost who wants to leave the criminal world behind him, but he can't sever the ties just yet. There have been three spin-offs, including Power Book I, III, and IV.

Although RHOA featured one white cast member during the show's first five seasons, it has since become one of Bravo's few all-Black ensembles and is loved by the community. It's also one of the network's highest-rated series and, at one point, brought in over four million live viewers.

'The Best Man: The Final Chapters'
Blackmaled Productions,Sean Daniel Company,Universal
Terrence Howard, Taye Diggs, and Nia Long blew us away with their performances in the 2013 film The Best Man Holiday. So you know, when Peacock announced the series The Final Chapters with the same all-star cast, we were sold.

Tia Mowry has been an icon in the Black community. From her time on Sister, Sister to The Game, the actress has been starring in shows that tell Black stories for years. In 2019, she snagged a new role in Netflix's sitcom Family Reunion, where she plays Cocoa, a mother of five who takes up "new-age parenting." The production also stars the iconic Loretta Devine, known for originating the role of Lorrell Robinson in Dreamgirls on Broadway.
Peacock
Yep, this series is based on Will Smith's late '90s classic The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It airs on Peacock and features several characters we know and love, including Carlton, Aunt Viv, and Hilary Banks.

Anthony Anderson never failed to make us laugh during his run in Black-ish. Although he enjoyed his lifestyle, he was always determined to make sure his Black family didn't take in too much of their suburban surroundings.

'Kandi & The Gang'
Charles Sykes/Bravo
Bravo canned this show after one season, and I'm still having a hard time getting over it. Like other series that take place in a restaurant, Kandi & The Gang followed the staff of Kandi Burruss' Old Lady Gang in Georgia, and they served everything, including shade and chaos. You can stream Season 1 on Peacock.

Another Bravo reality show that left us too soon is Summer House: Martha's Vineyard. This series followed a group of young Black professionals (who also happen to be besties) vacationing in one of the most beautiful locations known to man: Martha's Vineyard. But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The group had explosive relationship drama, friendship fallouts, and some interactions that almost turned physical. If you want to tune into this one, check it out on Peacock.

'Tia and Tamera'
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
I know Sister, Sister is already listed, but Tia and Tamera's reality show is still one for the history books. They didn't hold back like I thought they would. They unveiled the messy truth, showing their longtime fans that things weren't exactly as they seemed.
