In February, Cillian Murphy teased a new project in collaboration with Netflix. Now that film is in production and is already close to wrapping, as per an image shared by @NetflixUK on X (formerly known as Twitter).
The film — titled Steve — is a reimagining of the bestselling novel Shy by Max Porter, which "follows a pivotal day in the life of a headteacher and his students at a last-chance reform college".
The recent Oscar winner, Cillian Murphy, will star opposite Jay Lycurgo, with Murphy producing alongside his longtime collaborator Alan Moloney.
The image shared by Netflix reveals that filming commenced on May 24 and will wrap tomorrow, July 5, with a vague "coming soon to Netflix" scrawled on the photo.

Small Things Like These director Tim Mielants directs the screenplay from Max Porter that producer Moloney called "darkly funny" when the project was first reported by Deadline.
