Fresh off his highly successful Super Bowl performance in 2025, Kendrick Lamar has continued to make headlines and top chart records with his newest album, GNX. Looking to capitalize further, Lamar and SZA, who have partnered together on many records thus far, will be touring together in the Grand National Tour, which started on April 19 in Minneapolis. The tour is expected to achieve not only massive financial success, but also treat fans to an extraordinary set list, taking a page out of the book of Taylor Swift.

Kendrick Lamar And SZA Prepare Massive Set List For Tour

Kendrick Lamar and SZA kicked off their tour yesterday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the U.S. Bank Stadium. The two alternated back and forth in sets, allowing each to have a feature run. They also showed off their collaborative library, performing multiple songs together on stage. In total, they performed four individual sets, followed by a shared middle set, and finished with three individual sets and a grand final duo. The set in total was mammoth, spanning 52 different hits between the two phenomenal performers.

Kendrick Lamar has had an incredible year so far. He won five awards at this year’s Grammys for his hit Drake diss track, Not Like Us. He then headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which became the most-watched halftime show in Super Bowl history. He was also the first ever solo rapper to headline the show. Next, in Lamar’s music video with SZA for the song “Luther”, he received praise for his deeper and hidden meanings throughout the cinematography. Now, with a massive tour on the slate and kicking off hugely on Saturday, the hip-hop icon is again at the top of the music industry.

Ultimately, the goal of the tour is to promote the duo’s two newest albums. For Lamar, that means  “GNX,” his fourth release to top the Billboard 100’s album chart. With SZA, the promoted album is “SOS Deluxe: Lana,” a deluxe edition of her 2022 album that topped the Billboard album chart. She also won a Grammy with the release, and it is a five-time platinum album.

The two performed an array of hits throughout the show, putting on a spectacular performance that thrilled the audience throughout. Their tour will continue through August, with stops in 36 different stadiums across the United States, Canada, and 11 different countries in Europe.
