Lilo & Stitch Live Action Movie: Stitch Spotted in Hawaii in New Set Photos

The first images have surfaced online as TikTok user @PaulinaPullara shared a short video from the set, which caught the behind-the-scenes action from Disney's remake.

Not only did we see Stitch in a little pink car, but we also saw Maia Kealoha as Lilo and a few other sneak peeks.

Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, Lilo & Stitch is a remake of the beloved 2002 animated classic, which follows a young girl who lives with her older sister. The two adopt what they think to be a "dog" but soon realize he's not like every other pup: he is actually a scientific experiment on the run from his creators.

Joining Maia Kealoha as Lilo are fellow cast members Sydney Agudong as older sister Nani, Billy Magnussen as Pleakley, Zach Galifianakis as Jumba, Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles and Chris Sanders voicing Stitch.

Fleischer Camp was nominated for his first Oscar in 2023 for his film Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, which follows a broke documentary filmmaker who discovers a quirk mollusk shell living in his Airbnb with his friends.

Lilo & Stitch does not yet have an expected release date.
