Netflix teases Season 4 of 'Ozark,' coming January 2022

The end of Ozark will begin Jan. 21, 2022.

Netflix revealed a glimpse into the fourth and final season of its crime drama Tuesday:

"Money is, at its essence, that measure of a man's choices," Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) says in the eerie clip. Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney), Marty's wife, later chimes in: "Sometimes if you don't move forward, you die."

Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, Ozark has charted the Byrde family's dark spiral into a life of crime since its July 2017 premiere. It all began with Marty, a crooked Chicago-based financial adviser, relocating his family to the Lake of the Ozarks for a money-laundering scheme. The series also stars Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Lisa Emery, Charlie Tahan and more.

It was announced in June 2020 that Ozark's final season will be split up into two parts, seven episodes each. Chris Mundy will return as executive producer and showrunner. Bateman has served as a director and executive producer throughout the series' Emmy-winning run, too.
