On Sept. 11, 2003, actor and national treasure John Ritter died suddenly of a rare heart problem. Ritter was currently making the awkwardly titled "8 Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter," which nonetheless succeeded based on Ritter's comedic genius and America's nostalgia for all the great moments he delivered as Jack Tripper on "Three's Company."
