Saweetie and Gabrielle Union are second cousins. And while Union is fully supportive of Saweetie’s career, the rapper says she didn’t use her family connection to get ahead in her career. She wanted to earn it on her own. 

This connection becomes much more apparent after learning that Nicolas Cage’s given last name is Coppola. Yep, he’s part of the famous film family, making him and Sofia Coppola, star director and daughter of Francis Ford Coppola, cousins. 

Kate Middleton is also distantly related to Ellen DeGeneres. The comedian shared the news ahead of the princess’ wedding to Prince William, and the news only begged one question: why couldn’t DeGeneres get the duchess to come on her talk show?
