Vampire Weekend released their fifth album "Only God Was Above Us" in April 2024 and then toured in support of that album through December of last year. Well, Ezra Koenig and company aren't done yet. Vampire Weekend has announced dates for spring, summer, and even into early fall.
The indie band with the jangly, Paul Simon's "Graceland" vibes, are playing at a couple festivals in May before the proper "tour" begins on May 27. The tour continues through June and capped with Bonnaroo.
After that, Vampire Weekend is heading to Europe for some festivals and then popping back to North America for some additional festivals in September. All that is to say you'll have a lot of opportunity to see Vampire Weekend in 2025.
Though Vampire Weekend is not as zeitgeist-y as they were as the 2000s turned into the 2010s, the band keeps touring, keeps making new music, and keeps delivering their specific vibe to audiences. Also, on some stops of their tour a Billy Joel cover band called Turnstiles is opening for them. Yes, really.
