The Bikeriders had a rocky road to release but is now sailing smoothly onto digital since wrapping its theatrical run, where it was praised by critics and audiences alike.

It may not have made big bucks at the box office, but those who loved it have been singing its praises, so perhaps its video-on-demand release will allow for a second wind of success.

Starring Tom Hardy, Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp, Emory Cohen, Karl Glusman, Boyd Holbrook and Norman Reedus, The Bikeriders takes inspiration from Danny Lyon's photobook, which documented a group of bikers in the 60s.

Debuting at Telluride Film Festival, The Bikeriders took a lap around the festival circuit, visiting London, Chicago, Savannah and Austin before slamming release on the brakes amidst the Hollywood strikes and a shift in studios.

However, The Bikeriders is now available on digital, with an expected physical release on the horizon and a promise of an upcoming streaming date, so there are plenty of ways to catch up with Jeff Nichols' gem of a movie.

The Bikeriders is now available to purchase on video-on-demand platforms such as Prime Video, YouTube, AppleTV+, and Fandango at Home.

You can rent The Bikeriders for $19.99 or buy it for $24.99.
