A film that creeped in and out of theaters without a trace was The Exorcism, starring Russell Crowe, the sophomore feature from director Joshua John Miller, which documents a troubled actor who begins to exhibit disruptive behavior while shooting a horror film.
It wasn't particularly a hit among critics or audiences, landing 28% and 35% from each group, respectively, but sometimes horror films find their audiences at home.
The Exorcism is now available via video-on-demand platforms, allowing it to find its audience who might find a new appreciation for it.
Joining Crowe in the cast are Ryan Simpkins, Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg, Adrian Pasdar and David Hyde Pierce
