Streaming services have made it easier than ever to pick and choose your preferred sports-watching experience. Not only can you avoid the lengthy commitments and high prices of cable and satellite plans, but you can also watch from anywhere on your preferred device. Plus, live TV streaming services offer a wide range of add-ons and customizations to build the channel package you want.
Still, some channels require a little more hunting to find out how you can watch when you cut the cord. ESPN3 isn’t as widely available as other ESPN networks like ESPN or ESPNU at first glance, but it is possible to watch with a live TV streaming service. Read on to find out where you can find the ESPN3 live stream.
ESPN3 is a sports network that features a variety of live events from college football, college basketball pro tennis, golf, soccer and even some high school sports. It’s a go-to channel for events that don’t quite have the draw of the main events that make ESPN or ESPN2. Fans of niche offerings or lesser-known teams can find events on ESPN3 that aren’t available elsewhere.
As a network for less popular sporting events, ESPN3 isn’t widely available on live TV streaming services. If you’re looking for where to watch ESPN3, only one streaming platform — Sling TV — includes the channel in its lineup.

If you want to access the ESPN3 live stream in your live TV streaming package, Sling TV is your only option. That’s not bad news, though — Sling is more affordable than other streaming services, and it’s more customizable.
In addition to the two base packages, Sling Orange and Sling Blue, you also have the option to combine the two and buy add-on packages for more channels.
Sling TV features a much smaller channel lineup than other streaming platforms, but there’s actually quite a bit of live sports content available. Sling Orange includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and MotorTrend, while Sling Blue features NFL Network, Fox Sports 1 (FS1) and TruTV. Both plans also have extra sports on channels like TBS, TNT and USA, and Sling Blue offers ABC, Fox and NBC in select markets.
That’s only the foundation, though. You can also tack on the Sports Extra add-on to gain access to more than 10 additional networks, including big names like MLB Network, NBA TV, NHL Network, Big Ten Network, ACCN, SEC Network and ESPNU. This add-on costs between $11 and $15 a month, depending on which plan you have.
Sling’s biggest weakness is its lack of local channels in most areas of the country and its lack of regional sports networks (RSNs). If you want to follow your local teams, you’ll need to subscribe to a direct service like Bally Sports Plus. Still, Sling’s lower price point makes this a reasonable option to consider if you want ESPN3 streaming alongside your local team coverage.
While only Sling includes ESPN3 in its in-app channel lineup, you can use your login information for other live TV streaming services including Hulu, Fubo and YouTube TV to log in to the ESPN app and access ESPN3 content.
The app includes a wide range of ESPN and ESPN Plus content, and it’s available on iOS and Android mobile devices, along with the following systems:
ESPN3 streaming is not included in an ESPN Plus subscription, but some events may be simulcast on both platforms. ESPN Plus is an over-the-top streaming service that features a wide variety of live sports from major pro leagues and college conferences, including many out-of-market events. It’s separate from ESPN’s regular cable networks.
If you subscribe to a streaming service or cable provider that includes ESPN3, you can watch the channel within the ESPN app. Simply sign into the app with your TV provider info to access the ESPN3 live stream.
Sling TV is the only live TV streaming service that offers ESPN3 streaming. You can also get ESPN3 on select cable and satellite providers such as Spectrum and Cox, but many companies do not include the channel in their standard packages.
