Fox Network has created a media group with many national channels under its broadcasting umbrella. Fox Sports 1 (FS1) and Fox Sports 2 (FS2) are some of these channels that provide viewers with access to different sport s coverage ranging from CFB, NFL, MLB playoff games, and more.
You can stay up to date with FS1 content live without cable on multiple different live TV streaming services ranging from DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV. We've narrowed down your options for watching FS1 and FS2 so you can get to the action faster.
Fox Sports 1 (FS1) and Fox Sports 2 (FS2) began in 2013 and operate out of the Fox Network headquarters, but they are exclusively focused on athletics. FS1 airs almost 5,000 hours of live sporting events each year, including college football, college basketball, NASCAR, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer. FS2 has a lot of MLB games and soccer games, plus AFL football and women’s basketball.
DIRECTV STREAM has FS1 in each of its four packages, including the Entertainment package, which is the most affordable option. Still, you might want to go with the Ultimate plan or above. This is where you’ll find FS2. Channel packages at the Choice level and up also have regional sports networks (RSNs), including Bally Sports and Marquee Sports Network.
Sports fans will also find collegiate networks ACCN, Big Ten Network and SEC Network in their lineup if they have the Choice plan. Plus, NFL Network, NHL Network, NFL RedZone, NBA TV and CBS Sports Network are available for professional league action. DIRECTV STREAM gives all customers unlimited DVR storage and unlimited streams within their household, along with three out-of-network streams.
The Hulu + Live TV streaming plan has 95+ channels, including FS1 and FS2. Even better, you’ll get ESPN Plus for free. You can use your Hulu login to access the app as soon as your Hulu + Live TV subscription is active. The platform delivers all local channels, including Fox, NBC, ABC and CBS, for primetime programming and live sporting events. Other sports channels include ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network, MLB Network, TNT, Big Ten Network, and SEC Network. Unfortunately, NBA TV is not available.
Like its competitors, Hulu + Live TV lets you expand your channel offerings by paying for additional channel packages. In this case, the Sports Add-on will put NFL RedZone, FanDuel TV, FanDuel Racing, MAVTV, Outdoor Channel, and Sportsman Channel on your channel guide. Other important features include the Hulu video-on-demand library, unlimited cloud DVR and two simultaneous streams.
Sling TV offers FS1 on the Sling Blue plan and FS2 with the Sling Blue Sports Extra. This platform is much cheaper than most competitors, but you will have a shorter channel list. Still, it can be a good option for sports fans. The Sling Blue Sports extra also has MLB Network, MLB Network Strike Zone, NHL Network, NBA TV, Tennis Channel and NFL RedZone. To get ESPN, you’ll need Sling Orange. The provider also has a combined Sling Orange & Blue plan with all base channels. Some people can get select local channels on Sling Blue.
Sling TV customers can add premium networks to their package, like STARZ or Discovery Plus, but this will start to negate the lower price point pretty quickly. All plans offer 50 hours of cloud DVR storage and the Sling Orange & Blue plan has 4 simultaneous streams.
Fubo has three plans to choose from, all of which have FS1 and FS2. If you decide to upgrade your plan you can get more channels. When your Fox Sports channels aren’t piquing your interest, you can switch over to ESPN, NFL Network, Fubo Sports, Golf Channel and more.
Fubo also has a Sports Lite Add-on that gives you MLB Network, NHL Network, NBA TV, and more. The Elite plan has all of these channels, including NBA TV, included in the base plan. Fubo customers get unlimited Cloud DVR at no charge and simultaneous streaming on up to 10 devices at the same time at home.
YouTube TV has a single plan, but it packs more than 100 channels. These include FS1 and FS2. The streaming service also delivers sports channel must-haves like ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network, CBS Sports Network, NBA TV, and more. The only downside of the lineup is that MLB Network is nowhere to be found, even with an add-on. Speaking of extras, the Sports Plus Add-on gives you NFL RedZone, Fox Soccer Plus, Billiard TV, FanDuel TV, Fight Network and more.
During football season, YouTube TV is the only carrier to have NFL Sunday Ticket for out-of-market games. You don’t need YouTube TV to buy it, but your experience will be more uniform if you can add the season pass to an existing live TV streaming plan. Other notable perks include in-game features like Key Plays and Stats, unlimited cloud DVR and three simultaneous streams.
No. You can watch “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon Prime, but not FS1 or FS2.
Peacock delivers only NBC-related channels and content. Unfortunately, that means no Fox Sports 1.
If you have Hulu + Live TV you can watch FS1 and FS2. The channels are in the base plan.
