Soccer is taking over. While the MLS Season Pass in the Apple TV app is the easiest way to guarantee you'll see every MLS game, there are multiple ways to watch the national games in both the Eastern and Western conferences.
For cord cutters, there are multiple live TV streaming services that will allow you to watch nationally broadcast games that air on Fox and FS1. We break down each of those services and the benefits of the MLS Season Pass below.
If you are looking to watch MLS games on linear cable, Fox is still the place to go. The station will air 34 regular-season games, and the eight Audi MLS Cup playoff matches this season, as well as the MLS Cup. Over on FSI, you can catch the 10 Group Stage games, four Round of 32 matches and two of the Round of 16 matches in each tournament. There is also a Spanish-language simulcast of the games on Univision.
Check out where you can watch the Fox, FS1 and Univision games below.

DIRECTV STREAM subscribers will be able to watch any of the games airing on Fox, FS1 and Univision. The service offers a 5-day free trial, and The Entertainment Package on DIRECTV STREAM offers 75 channels. All plans include the three channels above to make sure you have access to the nationally broadcast MLS Games. Additional Spanish-language simulcasts on UniMás and Fox Deportes are available.
DIRECTV STREAM also offers the Choice and Ultimate packages. The Choice plan comes with more specialty channels like NFL Network, NBA TV and MLB Network. The Ultimate Package already includes Unimas and adds the NHL Network along with multiple premium movie channels like STARZ Encore.
Fubo was made for the live sports fans. The service offers a 7-day free trial and then has four different plans to choose from: Essential, Pro, Elite and Latino.
The Latino plan comes with 48+ channels including Fox Deportes, which will simulcast the Fox and FS1 games. The Fubo Pro plan includes 216+ channels, including Fox and Fox Sports 1 (FS1). It also includes FanDuel Sports Networks (depending on your area), NFL Network and Fubo Sports. Fubo Elite lands you 292+ channels that include MLB Network, NHL Network, NBA TV and the Tennis Channel.
Fubo also allows you to add sports packages to any of the tiers. The Sports Plus with NFL RedZone Add-on gives you access to Racing America, MLB Strike Zone and more. All plans offered by Fubo come with unlimited Cloud DVR at no additional charge.
If you love a bundle, then Hulu + Live TV may be the best option for you. All of the Hulu + Live TV plans include Fox and FS1, making it easy for you to watch the nationally broadcast MLS games. ACCN, CBS Sports Network, NBC Golf, MotorTrend, NFL Network, SEC Network and T2 Live Tennis are also part of the Live TV packages. The service makes a point of emphasizing its NFL access with CBS, ESPN, Fox, NBC, and NFL networks also available on Hulu + Live TV.
Hulu also offers a sports add-on and it includes FanDuel Racing, FanDuel TV, MAVTV, NFL RedZone, Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and Tennis Channel. Unfortunately, there is no Hulu + Live TV free trial.
Sling TV is a more affordable option for cord cutters. The service currently doesn't offer a free trial, but they will give you 50 percent off the first month on all of their plans.
MLS fans will need the Blue Plan if they want to be able to watch the nationally broadcast games as it is the only Sling plan that includes Fox and FS1. However, Sling is not going to work if you want any of the Spanish-language MLS simulcasts.
The combined plan may make the most sense because it will also give you ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and MotorTrend channels that are only available on the Orange Plan. The combined plan adds in ABC, Fox, NBC, and NFL Network, which are on the Blue Plan.
Sling TV also features multiple deals for NBA League Pass including one month free with the Sling Freestream package or three months of NBA League Pass and the Sling Orange plan.
YouTube TV offers two plans: a Base plan and a Spanish Plan. The Spanish Plan comes with Fox Deportes, UniMás and Univision which allows viewers to watch nationally broadcast games in Spanish.
English-speaking MLS fans will want the Base Plan which includes Fox and FS1 as well as UniMás and Univision. For other sports, the Base Plan carries ABC, CBS, Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, FS2, NBC Golf, NBA TV, NFL Network, T2 and TNT. The Base Plan also includes 100 general entertainment and news channels including MTV, Freeform, Paramount Network and Hallmark.
The main appeal of YouTube TV is being able to customize your plan, so they provide many available add-on channels. For sports fans, the Sports Plus package includes Billiard TV, Fox Soccer Plus, FanDuel TV, Fight Network, Impact Wrestling, MAV TV, NFL RedZone, Outside TV, Players TV, Poker GO, Sports Grio, Tennis Channel, VSiN and beIN sports.
If you want to guarantee access to every MLS game, then you are going to need the MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. MLS Season Pass began on the Apple TV app for the 2023 season and will remain there until 2032. The Pass includes the Leagues Cup and the entire Audi MLS Cup Playoffs will be on MLS Season Pass with no blackouts.
The MLS Season Pass also allows you to watch every match in English or Spanish, with the option to listen to the home club's local radio announces. Canadian club matches will also be available in French. MLS Season Pass can be streamed on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, gaming consoles and online at tv.apple.com. The MLS Season pass also includes highlights from the 2023 season.
Yes, you can get an MLS Season Pass without being an Apple TV Plus subscriber, but you will need the Apple TV app.
You cannot watch MLS on ESPN Plus anymore. The MLS has moved all of its games to MLS Season Pass with nationally broadcast games airing on Fox and FS1. The nationally broadcast games are simulcast in Spanish on Univision, UniMás and Fox Deportes.
Some games will be made available to Apple TV Plus subscribers without the MLS Season Pass at no additional cost, but if you don't have Apple TV Plus or the MLS Season Pass, then you will need a Live TV service like DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, Fubo or YouTube TV to be able to watch the games.
