The Mets, with owner Steve Cohen making outrageous acquisitions in the offseason, are strolling into 2025 with the most preposterous roster of all time. The best sluggers in the MLB headline the New York Mets' 2025 batting lineup: Pete Alonso, Francisco Lindor, and Juan Soto, who seem to land RBIs, hits, and home runs every time the Mets' triumvirate is up at bat.
Between Mets players and fans, there is a unanimous sentiment: "Let's run it back."
As of right now, the Mets just swept the Cardinals 4-0 in their most recent April 2025 series, making it the first time the Mets have done this since 1986 — the last time NYM won the World Series...
Do you think we'll have what it takes to beat the Dodgers in 2025 in the inevitable NLCS showdown part II? Well, if we're going to get that far, you'll need a premier MLB live TV streaming service to get you there.
The New York Mets air on more channels than many other teams — for good reason. We've got Juan Soto in the lineup. Mets fans should consider themselves spoiled for choice when it comes to Mets MLB game coverage. Most games air on SportsNet New York (SNY) and WPIX, the latter of which is the local The CW channel. You can also find nationally broadcast games on several channels below:

The DIRECTV Streaming App is the best place to watch the Mets in 2025 if you live in and around New York. You’ll be able to watch SNY and WPIX with the platform if you have the Choice, Ultimate or Premier package. These DIRECTV Streaming App and its plans give you 100 channels and up. Even if you’re not in the coverage area for New York Regional Sports Networks (RSNs), you’ll still have access to TBS, ESPN, Fox, Fox Sports 1 (FS1) and MLB Network for Mets games.
Hulu + Live TV is the only streaming platform that gives all customers ESPN Plus. The channel lineup includes locals, including the local CW station, and SNY for customers in the area. In addition to Mets channels and ESPN Plus coverage, you’ll also have MLB Network, TBS, ESPN, Fox and FS1. You can eliminate ads from Hulu’s on-demand library and pay a bit more instead.
Sling TV allows you to watch the New York Mets on ESPN, TBS, FS1 and Fox (where local channels are available). You can also watch MLB Network with a sports add-on. Unfortunately, the service doesn’t have RSN broadcasts, so there’s no SNY or WPIX. The Sling Blue package has Fox in some markets, plus TBS and FS1. Sling Orange has ESPN and TBS. You can get the channels in both Sling packages with the Sling Orange & Blue plan. If you get local channels, there is an additional fee.
Fubo started as a soccer-centric service, and it still maintains a focus on sports content today. While the Fubo platform does not feature SNY, it offers WPIX for local New York Mets games. You can also watch games that are broadcast on Fox, FS1 and ESPN with all three plans (Essential, Pro and Elite). You can watch MLB Network when you upgrade to Elite or purchase an add-on that includes it for an additional monthly fee. The platform doesn’t offer TBS.
YouTube TV offers 100+ channels. You can watch the New York Mets on FS1, ESPN, TBS and Fox. Unfortunately, the platform lost the MLB Network a few years ago and it’s still missing from the lineup. That being said, YouTube TV may still be of interest because it has unique features like Key Plays which allows you to catch up on game highlights if you turn on the Mets game late.
Each week during the season, Apple TV+ will air two exclusive MLB games during “Friday Night Baseball.” The Mets will air on Apple TV+ when they play the Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros.
You can use MLB TV to watch out-of-market Mets games, making it a good option for fans who live outside the greater New York City area.
If you live in or near New York, you can get a team pass per season, which covers only Mets games. The cost for both passes is a bit more per season. You can sign up for MLB TV on the MLB website or add it as an Amazon Prime channel.
The Mets air locally on SNY and WPIX. You can also watch nationally broadcast games on Fox, FS1, ESPN, TBS and ESPN Plus.
If you want a livestreaming service for SNY, you can choose between DIRECTV STREAM and Hulu + Live TV.
You can grab a free trial of MLB TV for seven days. After that, it will cost $149.99 per year. You can also choose to sign-up on a monthly basis which costs $29.99 per month.
