Olympic Wrestling debuted in the very first Olympic Games in 1896 which took place in Athens, Greece, and has been a cornerstone event ever since. The U.S. had its best-ever finish in the last Summer Games in Tokyo. The U.S. won nine medals, the most of any country and the most medals the U.S. had won since the 1984 games.

In this year's 2024 Summer Olympics, 16 wrestlers qualified for the Olympics for Team U.S.A., the most of any country. With all the success achieved in 2020, the team will be looking to top that in Paris this summer. Some U.S. wrestlers to watch this summer are Helen Maroulis, Kyle Snyder, Amit Elor and Kayla Miracle. All of these wrestlers have successful track records at the national level and are looking to add to their impressive resumes with some more hardware. Everything kicks off with the Opening Ceremony July 26th at 1:30 pm EST, so make sure to tune in.
