Reigning World Series champions, the Texas Rangers, stormed into the 2024 season, looking to return to the postseason again. Though it’s virtually unheard of to win back-to-back World Series, the Rangers are good enough to make it happen. The team has a robust group of veteran pitchers, including a solid bullpen that came in clutch during last year’s World Series run — and they need to stand strong during this season to make it back this year.
Texas fans can watch the team’s whole season from home on their favorite streaming service. Find out how to watch all the Texas Rangers games with sports streaming platforms, below.
Rangers fans can watch the games this season nationally on Fox, ESPN, TBS, FS1 and MLB Network. Regionally, games can be found on FanDuel Sports Network Southwest.

With DIRECTV STREAM, you get all the channels you need to watch the Texas Rangers games this season, including Fox, ESPN, TBS, FS1, MLB Network and FanDuel Sports Network Southwest, as long as you opt for the Choice plan or higher. The Entertainment plan is the lowest and most affordable package available but doesn’t include regional sports networks (RSNs) or MLB Network.
A DIRECTV STREAM subscription also offers unlimited cloud DVR and unlimited simultaneous streams, making it a great option for a house full of people or those fans who have busy lives and can’t be home every game night (but don’t want to miss out!)
Many sports fans gravitate toward Fubo for all the channels it offers. Though it doesn’t include TBS, Fubo does have every other station you need for Rangers games. As long as you opt for the Pro or Elite plan, you’ll have everything you need to catch MLB action from the Rangers and more. MLB Network is not included in the Pro plan. You can also get unlimited cloud DVR storage to record games and stream on 10 screens simultaneously while on your home network. Note that a fee may be applied for any packages that include regional sports networks.
Outside of baseball, Fubo is great for those looking for a sports-centric streaming service. Depending on which plan you pick, you can unlock access to popular sports channels like NFL Network, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, Tennis Channel and many more.
Hulu + Live TV is a good choice for the casual Rangers fan. The Live TV channel list gives viewers access to Fox, ESPN, FS1, TBS and MLB Network. However, fans won’t have the regional sports network needed for Ranger’s ball games, but it still offers a lot for sports fans.
Hulu + Live TV offers 90+ channels (and you can bump up to the ad-free plan for an additional cost), and it includes Hulu’s large selection of movies and TV shows, many of which are original content that you can’t find anywhere else. Plus, the subscription includes Disney Plus and ESPN Plus for no extra charge, which means even more TV, movies and sports content to round out your streaming package.
Rangers fans have a few options with Sling TV, depending on how many channels and games they want to target. For all the channels (minus the RSN FanDuel Sports Network Southwest), fans will want to opt for Sling Orange & Blue plus the Sports Extra.
Sling Orange includes ESPN and TBS. Sling Blue includes Fox (in some areas), FS1 and TBS. MLB Network is in the Sports Extra add-on. You truly can play around with what you’re subscribing to. You also get 50 hours of cloud DVR and the simultaneous streams vary based on what package you choose (between 1 and 3).
While you don’t get MLB TV or FanDuel Sports Network Southwest with YouTube TV, you get everything else: Fox, ESPN, FS1 and TBS. The lineup includes 100+ channels. Your monthly subscription price also includes unlimited cloud DVR and three simultaneous streams.
Without MLB TV and the RSN, YouTube TV is a bit of a tough sell for baseball fans, but the streaming service does have Key Plays View and Stats View. These unique features give fans extra insight into the action while they’re watching games. However, if you can’t actually stream the games (because you don’t have the channels), those features are moot.
On Friday nights, Apple TV+ is airing double-header games. Rangers fans will see the Texas team for three games this season.
Rangers fans outside of Texas who can’t watch FanDuel Sports Network Southwest can stream games through MLB TV. While you may still run into some blackout restrictions with nationally aired games, MLB TV is a great resource for catching all those games you might have otherwise missed.
You can find Texas Rangers games on DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV. Apple TV+ is also hosting Friday night games throughout the season.
You can find free trials on some streaming services if you want to watch games for free before committing to a subscription. DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and Fubo all offer a free trial.
MLB TV allows fans to watch games out of market, though some blackout restrictions may apply. .
