Summer 2024 brings us to the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad — or to be less formal about it, the 2024 Summer Olympics. This is the sixth time France has hosted the Olympic games, and this year, Paris becomes the second city to host the Summer Olympics three times.

2024 Summer Olympics schedule

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics airs on July 26 at 1:30 p.m. ET, but some events, like certain soccer, rugby and handball matches, including the men’s rugby quarterfinals, air before that. 

Other live 2024 Summer Olympics highlights include the Women’s 1500-meter freestyle final on July 31 at 2:30 p.m. ET, where the great Katie Ledecky will be going for another gold, and the Men’s and Women’s volleyball finals on Aug. 10-11.
