DIRECTV STREAM offers one of the most comprehensive options for fans to keep up with action throughout the college football season. Its Choice plan, in particular, offers a wide range of coverage for national, international and regional events. This DIRECTV STREAM plan includes staple networks like ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), ACCN, Big Ten Network, NBA TV, NFL Network and SEC Network, along with your regional sports networks (RSNs).
Die-hard Utah fans may want to upgrade to the Ultimate plan, which adds CBS Sports Network and over 25 other channels. Whichever plan you choose, you’ll get unlimited cloud DVR storage and no cap on simultaneous streams at home.
Fubo offers the best overall value for sports fans, with a base plan that features more than 30 sports networks. You’ll get plenty of Utes action on ABC, Fox, ESPN and CBS Sports Network, plus lots of other pro and college football on NFL Network, Big Ten Network, ACCN, SEC Network, FS1 and more.
All Fubo plans include RSNs, plus 1,000 hours of cloud DVR and up to 10 simultaneous streams on your home network. Note that a fee may be applied for any packages that include regional sports networks. Hardcore fans can add even more live coverage by upgrading to one of its top-tier plans or choosing from several add-on options. The only thing missing? Fubo lacks a few big-name channels like TBS, TNT, BBC and CNN.
Hulu + Live TV isn’t necessarily the first choice for sports fans — especially those who want regional coverage — but it may just be the best bet for Utah football lovers. Aside from a lineup of over 95 channels (including ABC, Fox, ESPN and CBS Sports Network), Hulu + Live TV also gets you access to ESPN Plus at no extra charge. That means this is the only live TV streaming platform that will show every Utah Utes game.
Not only that but Hulu + Live TV also includes full access to the Hulu and Disney Plus on-demand libraries, both of which feature tons of award-winning entertainment. You’ll also get unlimited cloud DVR storage and two simultaneous streams. Keep in mind, however, that Hulu + Live TV features very few RSNs.
Looking for a low-cost way to keep up with the Utes this season? Sling TV may be a good option for you. When looking at Sling TV plans, Sling Orange will provide you with ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3. If you want to add ABC and Fox, you can upgrade to the Sling Orange & Blue package, but local channels are only available in some markets. Sling Blue also includes NFL Network and FS1, and all plans feature TBS and TNT for more sports action.
Serious fans will also want to consider the Sports Extra add-on. Depending on which plan you have the add-on gets you loads of extra pro and college sports on channels like ACCN, SEC Network, ESPNU, Big Ten Network, NBA TV, NHL Network and more. All Sling TV plans include 50 hours of cloud DVR, but you won’t find any RSNs here.
YouTube TV is another excellent streaming option for Utes fans. The platform features more than 130 channels in its base plan, including sports staples like ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, FS1, ACCN, NBA TV, SEC Network and NFL Network. It also features local channels like ABC and Fox, but not RSNs.
At its price point, YouTube TV offers one of the largest channel lineups available in streaming today. This platform offers a nice balance of sports, news and entertainment that will satisfy many cord-cutters. It also comes with unlimited cloud DVR storage and up to three simultaneous streams.
As part of the ESPN family, ESPN Plus also includes some exclusive streaming rights for Big 12 games in. This over-the-top streamer is included with Hulu + Live TV or available as a stand-alone subscription.
On top of exclusive Big 12 games, ESPN Plus features plenty of other college football, along with out-of-market NHL games, MLB action, UFC Fighting, European soccer and more. The platform is also home to numerous award-winning sports documentaries and live analysis shows.
The Utes will air on ABC, Fox or ESPN for most games during the season. You may also find them on ESPN Plus and CBS Sports Network. Besides ESPN Plus, these channels are available on most live TV streaming services.
Pac-12 Network shut down in summer 2024 after many of the most popular Pac-12 teams moved to the Big 12 conference. This channel is no longer available anywhere.
To watch college football online, you’ll need access to a cable plan or a subscription to a live TV streaming service. Many streaming services offer free trials, including DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo and YouTube TV.
