This season, the Washington State Cougars are a little lonely in the new-look Pac-12, which is now just them and Oregon State after most of the other schools exited the conference. Two teams isn’t really enough, so the Cougars football team is allied with the Mountain West Conference. Add in some roster changes, like the loss of defensive back Kasen Kinchen (transferred to Nevada) and linebacker Tristan Bohannon and the addition of quarterback Jake Tiryakioglu and kicker Ryan Harris, and the upcoming season is looking like an unpredictable one for Washington State fans.
We’re still waiting for a few final game times to fall into place, but we do know when the Cougs will take on the Washington Huskies – make sure you tune in on September 14 to keep current on the state of Washington’s biggest college football rivalry.

DIRECTV STREAM is able to provide every live TV channel that airs Washington State football games. Subscribers can find Fox, The CW and CBS Sports Network. College football fans will find plenty to cheer for, too – like Big Ten Network, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network. And Peacock is available as an add-on.
That’s not all, however – you’ll find news networks like CNN and Fox News and entertainment networks like FX and USA. You’ll find sports networks like ESPN and NFL Network, too. And, since DIRECTV STREAM plans include unlimited cloud DVR storage, you'll never have to worry about missing a game, either. The DVR offers you an extra nine months to watch any recordings before they’re automatically deleted.
If you need the complete list of channels that offer live Cougars games but you also need the hottest names in on-demand streaming like “The Bear,” “Shogun” and “The Handmaid's Tale,” Hulu + Live TV is likely the streaming service that best meets your needs. In addition to Fox, The CW and CBS Sports Network, Hulu + Live TV offers a comprehensive lineup that includes ABC, NBC, CNN, ESPN, NFL Network, MTV, FX and more. College football fans get Big Ten Network, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network, too.
If Hulu’s huge on-demand library isn’t enough for you, you get access to a cloud DVR that boasts unlimited storage. Like other popular options, this DVR will store your recordings for nine months before deleting them automatically.
Sling TV exists as an excellent option for fans who only need the occasional Washington State football game. Sling Blue offers Fox in select areas (check your ZIP code to see if it’s available in your region) and FS1, but otherwise very little for college football fans – or sports fans in general. Sling Blue’s channel list includes NFL Network, news networks like CNN and VICE and some entertainment channels like TBS and Nick Jr. Sling Orange can get sports fans ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3.
Even the DVR offering is comparatively limited – Sling TV plans include 50 hours of DVR storage with the option to increase to 200 for an extra monthly fee. Unlike other streaming services, however, the Sling TV DVR won’t automatically delete your recordings after nine months.
Fubo also offers every TV station that broadcasts live Cougars football games. With Fubo, users get Fox, The CW and CBS Sports Network alongside an impressive selection of sports networks. College football fans will find Big Ten Network, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network. National networks like ESPN, FS2 and NFL Network as well as your regional sports networks also make appearances on the Fubo channel list. You’ll even find niche sports networks like Swerve Combat and Chess TV. Note that a fee may be applied for any packages that include regional sports networks.
With so many sports networks to keep on top of, you might worry about missing some of the live content you’re after. Luckily, Fubo plans all include a cloud DVR that, like DIRECTV STREAM, offers unlimited recording and holds recorded content for 9 months.
YouTube TV will get users access to Fox, CBS Sports Network and The CW – every TV channel that airs live Washington State football games. In addition, college football fans can expect tp get Big Ten Network, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network, while sports fans can find ESPN, ESPN 2, FS2, NFL Network and more.
YouTube TV isn’t just for sports fans – you’ll find FX, Disney Channel, PBS Kids and SyFy, too, among dozens of other channels. And like many other streaming platforms on our list, YouTube TV offers unlimited cloud DVR storage that will keep your recordings safe and sound for nine months.
Even though Peacock only airs one Cougars game this season, it’s one of the most exciting games on the schedule – the Washington Huskies rivalry game. Peacock doesn’t offer a ton of live sports channels outside of its own live offerings, but you can binge-watch “The Office” and catch Premier League matches and a handful of NFL games.
The WSU football game is on either Fox, CBS Sports Network, The CW or Peacock. Check the WSU game schedule to find which Cougars games air on which networks.
Washington State is technically in the Pac-12 conference, but Washington State football signed a two-year agreement to be an affiliate member of the Mountain West Conference.
You can watch Washington State football on Hulu + Live TV via Fox, CBS Sports Network or The CW. The base Hulu plan without live TV doesn’t offer any access to Washington State football.
