Alex Morgan's second child is almost here, and a simple social media post from the American soccer star has ramped up the excitement.

A two-time World Cup champion with the United States Women's National Team, Morgan retired from professional soccer in September 2024 in a surprise video that doubled as a pregnancy reveal.

The 35-year-old and her husband, former professional soccer player Servando Carrasco, already share a daughter named Charlie who was born in May 2020.

On Wednesday, Charlie joined her mom in the crowd at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego — where Morgan played her final three NWSL seasons for San Diego Wave FC — to watch the USWNT take on Japan in the SheBelieves Cup.

It may have been one of their last outings before becoming a family of four.

On Friday, Morgan took to her X and Instagram accounts to share a pregnancy update with her audience of more than 13 million followers across the two platforms.

With her estimated March due date rapidly approaching, she posted three photos that showed off her anticipation for the new baby, sporting a "Soccer Mom" trucker hat around a group of close family and friends.

Although she did not add a caption to the post on Instagram, the mirrored post on X included more detail courtesy of a three-emoji message — eyes, a bottle and the "soon" arrow.

In her gender reveal post on Jan. 23, Morgan stated that she was "two months out from baby No. 2," setting some time in March as an approximate due date.

The specific date remains an unknown, but based on her exciting update on the final day of February, it may be sooner than later.
