Deion Sanders and longtime girlfriend Tracey Edmonds have broken up, with the Dallas Cowboys and NFL icon pitching in to her announcement on social media on Sunday night by writing, "You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER!''
Edmonds shared a post on social media to announce that the couple had decided to amicably split after being together for 11 years.

We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together. Sanders and Edmonds were a media "power couple'' of sorts, as she is accomplished in Hollywood both on camera and behind the scenes. And of course "Coach Prime'' is among the highest-profile figures in sports and entertainment, having recently been named SI's "Sportsperson of the Year.''
Sanders, now the football coach at the University of Colorado, has had Tracey by his side since 2012, quite notably last spring and summer when Sanders was enduring some serious health issues.
