The Minnesota Golden Gophers (4-0) dominated the Oregon State Beavers, allowing just two points in the fourth quarter alone on their way to a 73-38 win at Desert Financial Arena in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday.

The Gophers held the Beavers to an 18.2% shooting clip from three-point range (4-for-22) and 28% shooting from the floor. It's the lowest field goal percentage allowed by a Dawn Plitzuweit Gopher team against a Power 4 opponent, according to the program.

The Gophers had 32 points contributed off the bench, marking the third time in four games the reserves have scored more than 30 this season.

Three players scored in double figures for the Gophers: Annika Stewart (13), Grace Grocholski (10) and Mara Braun (10).

Minnesota only turned the ball over six times in the contest, the lowest mark so far this season.

The Gophers fell behind 11-8 to start the game but went on a 5-0 run to take a 13-11 lead heading into the second quarter. Minnesota started to widen the margin with an 8-0 run to take a 21-13 lead and eventually led 30-20 at halftime.

Oregon State turnovers were their ultimate downfall, as they turned over the ball 20 times, including 12 in the first half alone.

The Gophers grew its lead to 44-30 before another 8-0 put them on top 52-30 with 2:21 left in the third quarter. The Gophers went into the fourth quarter with a 52-36 lead before the game was officially broken wide open, as the Beavers only scored two points the entire final quarter.

Minnesota will next take on SMU in Tempe on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
