The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us. The film has been watched, the meetings have been had and the boards have been sorted out. Now we can all just kick our feet up and wait to see what will happen in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Until then I take one more shot at predicting the first round. Set it in stone, these are the picks I am expecting on Thursday night. Here is my 2025 NFL Final Mock Draft.
1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, Quarterback, Miami
2. Cleveland Browns – Travis Hunter, Wide Receiver / Cornerback, Colorado
3. New York Giants – Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
4. New England Patriots – Will Campbell, Offensive Line, LSU
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Mason Graham, Defensive Tackle, Michigan
6. Las Vegas Raiders – Armand Membou, Offensive Tackle, Missouri
7. New York Jets – Tyler Warren, Tight End, Penn State
8. Carolina Panthers – Jalon Walker, Edge, Georgia
The Panthers need to improve their run defense and their pass rusher. As a hybrid linebacker / pass rusher, Walker can help in both areas. He’s a very high character guy and I believe Dave Canales will be drawn to him.
9. New Orleans Saints – Mykel Williams, Defensive Line, Georgia
Throw a dart at the roster and you’ll find a need for the Saints. This is getting a highly regarded talent and person at one of the most impactful positions of the field. A good start for the rebuild.
10. Chicago Bears – Ashton Jeanty, Running Back, Boise State
11. San Francisco 49ers – Kelvin Banks, Offensive Line, Texas
12. Dallas Cowboys – Tetairoa McMillan, Wide Receiver, Arizona
13. Miami Dolphins – Jahdae Barron, Defensive Back, Texas
14. Indianapolis Colts – Colston Loveland, Tight End, Michigan
15. Atlanta Falcons – Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
It’s all about finding a pass rusher for the Falcons this offseason. With many to choose from, they go with Green who was the best sack artist in college football last year.
16. Arizona Cardinals – Jihaad Campbell, Linebacker, Alabama
17. Cincinnati Bengals – Shemar Stewart, Defensive Line, Texas A&M
18. Seattle Seahawks – Matthew Golden, Wide Receiver, Texas
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
I think there is a chance that the Bucs could trade down or even out of the first round all together. However, if I’m leaving them here at 19 I will go with the best player available who meets their needs and thresholds and for me that is Ezeiruaku. Extremely high character and extremely polished as a pass rusher. Despite a crowded edge room, don’t be surprised if he is the Bucs leading sacker two years from now.
20. Denver Broncos – Omarion Hampton, Running Back, North Carolina
21. Pittsburgh Steelers – Shedeur Sanders, Quarterback, Colorado
22. Los Angeles Chargers – Walter Nolan, Defensive Tackle, Ole Miss
23. Green Bay Packers – Derrick Harmon, Defensive Tackle, Oregon
24. * Trade Kansas City Chiefs – Josh Simmons, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State
25. Houston Texans – Josh Conerly, Offensive Tackle, Oregon
26. Los Angeles Rams – Will Johnson, Cornerback, Michigan
27. Baltimore Ravens – Emeka Egbuka, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
28. Detroit Lions – Grey Zabel, Offensive Line, North Dakota State
29. Washington Commanders – Maxwell Hariston, Cornerback, Kentucky
30. Buffalo Bills – Kenneth Grant, Defensive Tackle, Michigan
31. * Trade Minnesota Vikings – Malaki Starks, Safety, Georgia
32. ** Trade New Orleans Saints – Jaxson Dart, Quarterback, Ole Miss
The Saints attempt to get themselves a franchise quarterback. I don’t put a lot of stock into Dart, so this pick would be just fine with me, but they have been heavily linked to him. If a team loves a player, especially a quarterback, then go get him and get that 5th year option by trading back into the first round.
