Matchroom Boxing Signs Partnership Deal With Fuelhub

Eddie Hearn from Matchroom Boxing has signed a deal with premium meal delivery services provider FuelHub, owned by Michelle and James Laithwaite.

This deal will see FuelHub become Matchroom Boxing’s official nutrition partner and will be involved in the supply of all weekly premium meal prep to the staff in the HQ in Essex.

FuelHub was founded back in 2019 after Michelle (coming from a career in fashion) was involved in a lot of travel during her busy days and would find it difficult to get convenient and healthy meals while on the go and her husband James (a former professional rugby league player) also had the same challenges as his nutrition and lifestyle choices were in direct relation to his performance on the pitch.

They decided to come together and formed FuelHub after they realized, they were not the only ones across the UK that were struggling with meal plans that were convenient, ready and well-balanced in nutritional value.

FuelHub has grown over the years as it has forged partnerships across elite sports in the UK. Examples of sports franchises using FuelHub are the likes of big football clubs in the UK such as Manchester United FC, Chelsea FC, Fulham FC and others like Team GB and England Rugby Union.
