Lydia Ko’s triumph at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open on the iconic Old Course at St. Andrews marked a historic moment in her already illustrious career. The New Zealand golfer, who recently secured Olympic gold and LPGA Hall of Fame status, demonstrated her continued dominance in the sport by capturing her third major title.

With a final round of 3-under 69, Ko broke away from a three-way tie with a clutch birdie on the par-4 18th, finishing two strokes ahead of a competitive field. Her victory at the AIG Women’s Open not only showcased her skill but also highlighted her resilience and determination to achieve greatness in the sport.
