An unidentified golfer committed one of the biggest rule breaks in the sport during an outing with friends and it's quickly gone viral during Masters week.

At what appears to be Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast, CA, a man was spotted kicking his ball closer to the hole after hitting a wedge shot from behind the bunker.

The man definitely didn't know he was being recorded by onlookers from afar but it certainly resulted in some entertaining content:

"Good ole Pelican Hill GC," a user said.

"His heart sank when he heard the 'GET IN!' yell," TWLegion commented.

"yell fore, shoot 6, write down five," another replied.

"That was an electric foot wedge," a fan posted.

"Screaming 'get in' and letting him know you saw that is PHENOMENAL," another person cried.

"Would like to see what happened when the rest of the group arrived," another user shared.

"Tells you so much about the person."

"Reminds me of my cousin who cheats like a son of a [expletive] all the time," another fan grumbled.

Who knows if the man's partners ever caught on but you have to imagine this video is blowing up the group chat.

Has one of your friends ever tried something like this out on the links?
