Happy Gilmore 2 Gets Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has announced that Happy Gilmore 2 will release on their platform on Friday, July 25, 2025. In addition to Sandler, a number of other cast members from the original movie are slated to appear in the sequel:

• Julie Bowen as Virginia Venit
• Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin
• Allen Covert as Otto
• Dennis Dugan as Doug Thompson
• Ben Stiller as Hal
• Lee Trevino as himself

The movie will be full of additional cameos, including Travis Kelce, Will Zalatoris, Becky Lynch, Eminem, Scottie Scheffler, Reggie Bush, and Bryson DeChambeau, amongst others.

While sequels released several decades after the previous installment have their pitfalls, Happy Gilmore 2 has Adam Sandler's full attention. I trust that he values the legacy of the original film and the character of Happy enough to ensure this movie is up to par.
