Rory McIlroy had the perfect quote after his dramatic win at the Masters on Sunday.
McIlroy won his first career Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. with a birdie on the first playoff hole against Justin Rose. The win was an emotional one for McIlroy, who greeted a host of well-wishers after winning the championship.
After exchanging hugs and handshakes with friends and family, CBS cameras caught McIlroy delivering an epic line to the gallery.
“Alright, I gotta go get a green jacket,” McIlroy could be heard saying.

That quote should live long in the minds of his fans, and perfectly summed up the moment. McIlroy certainly had to work for it. He nearly threw away the win on No. 18, but just as he had done all day Sunday, he recovered immediately to birdie the playoff hole. His relief was palpable following the victory, and he was completely overwhelmed by the emotion.
The win means McIlroy will get that green jacket that has eluded him for his entire career. One could hardly blame him for doing what previous champions have done and wearing it everywhere he can.
