Winners of six of their last four, the Braves have announce three roster moves before game two. Michael Petersen was optioned back to Triple-A. Nathan Wiles’s contract was selected from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

The Braves have optioned right hand pitcher Michael Petersen to Triple-A today ahead of their game with the Cardinals. Petersen only appeared in one game for the Braves out of the bullpen. He pitched two innings without giving up a hit or a run. He was able to record one strikeout in his time with the Braves during this call up. Petersen will return to the Gwinnett Stripers in Triple-A.
The Braves have selected the contract of right hand pitcher Nathan Wiles today before game two with the Cardinals. Wiles has made three starts for the Gwinnett Stripers so far this year. In 14 innings he has allowed nine hits, two runs, one earned, five walks, and 15 strikeouts. Wiles has a 0.64 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and a .184 batting average against so far this year in Triple-A.
The Braves have release right hand pitcher Amos Willingham today ahead of their game. Willingham has appeared in two games with the Gwinnett Stripers with one win, a 1.93 ERA, and a 1.93 WHIP.
