MLB All-Star Game starting lineups announced

A pair of dominant lefties earned the starting nods for Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game in Clayton Kershaw and Shane McClanahan. The starting lineups were also announced on Monday afternoon ahead of the Midsummer Classic.

Among the starting nine for the NL, the only first-time All-Star is William Contreras, who is in his first full season. On the AL side, Byron Buxton, Andres Gimenez and Alejandro Kirk are all first-timers.

Acuña Jr. will take part in Monday night's Home Run Derby as well.

First pitch is slated for 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium.
