Lately, the Philadelphia Phillies haven't looked like themselves. After going 2-4 over their last six games, the team will look to make adjustments in hopes of regaining the early-season momentum they had built.
Long-time starting outfielder Brandon Marsh is not in the lineup for the Phillies as they begin a four-game series with the 11-4 San Francisco Giants on Monday.

Brandon Marsh has gone 0-for-26 in the batter's box while being on an 11-game hitless streak.
Now in his fourth season with the Phillies, Marsh is seeing his offensive numbers continue to dip. His batting average has declined each year since he was traded to the team in 2022.
The ex-Golden Glove winner has been on a rough start in the 14 games he's played this season. Batting a .108 and having an on-base percentage of just .250.
It's strange that he found this slump right when the season started. In spring training, Marsh batted .256, a significantly better average than what he's shown so far this regular season.
Assuming it's a temporary slump, the Phillies have decided to bench the 27-year-old Brandon Marsh and move Max Kepler – now in his first season with the team – into the left field position.
Kepler is batting .200 with an OPS of .619 in the 45 at-bats he's had for the Phillies in the 2025 season.
In hopes that it's just a temporary move, Brandon Marsh will sit out of the game against right-handed pitcher Landen Roupp and the San Francisco Giants.
