Phillies Milestones To Watch for in 2025
Eric Hartline-Imagn Images

While the real goal of 2025 is for the Philadelphia Phillies to take home their third World Series title, many of their core players have chances at some career milestones throughout the season.

First and foremost is franchise player Bryce Harper, who is just 34 RBI away from reaching one thousand in his regular season career. Harper is at the 1k mark exactly if you include his postseason stats.

Bryce drove in 87 runs for the Phillies last season, his second-most in a year with the club. He is also 14 home runs away from reaching 350 in the regular season.

Harper's longtime friend and current Philly shortstop Trea Turner needs just 21 stolen bases (or nine, counting postseason) for 300 in his career. Turner only swiped 19 bags last season but had 30 in his first year with the Phils. Additionally, he needs 29 home runs, which would be a new career-high, this year to reach 200.

Speaking of home runs, designated hitter Kyle Schwarber needs 16 more to reach 300 - or, counting his 21 in the playoffs, 45 to reach 350. Schwarber has led Philadelphia in homers each of the past three seasons.

On the mound, Aaron Nola will need to turn back the clock a bit to hit 2,000 career strikeouts. The longest-tenured Phillie is 221 punchouts away - a mark he exceeded in both 2021 and 2022, but not since.

Some other miscellaneous marks to watch:

  • If fireballer José Alvarado matches his 63 Ks from last year, he will hit 500 in his career.
  • Bryson Stott is 25 stolen bases away from 100 in his career. He had over 30 in both of the last two years.
  • Nick Castellanos is 28 doubles away from 400 and 17 homers away from 250.
