Since making his major league debut in 2022, Bobby Witt Jr. has become a superstar in baseball. After signing an 11-year, $288 million contract last February, he finished second in AL MVP voting behind Aaron Judge.
He stacked his trophy case last season as well, bringing home awards for being on the All-MLB First Team, taking home a gold glove, being named AL Batting Champion and collecting a Silver Slugger.
It's safe to say the 24-year-old Texas native is doing okay in the majors.
But according to his friend and teammate Vinnie Pasquantino, Bobby Witt Jr. isn't an expert at everything.
On Eric Hosmer's podcast Diggin' Deep, the Royals first baseman revealed that Witt isn't the best at the popular video game, Call of Duty.
"I mean, he pretty much does everything fantastic," Pasquantino said of Witt. " He's not great at Call of Duty, but he talks a lot of sh*t."
The answer elicited a laugh from host Justin Su'a before Pasquantino continued.
"Like he'll just start yelling at people and it's awesome," Pasquantino added. "You know, he's got his screen [name], nobody knows who it is and he's just yelling at people, it's amazing."
The Royals rising star said that he had seen this different side during his time rooming with Witt during Spring Training at the Royals complex in Surprise, Arizona.

Pasquantino also talked about getting to see a different side of the Royals superstar during his wedding this summer. The ceremony made headlines with its unique theme, including a Whataburger restaurant renamed "Wittaburger" inside the venue.
"That's probably my favorite thing about him is when- cause he is very protective, as he should be- but like when he lets loose, he's awesome," Pasquantino said. "Like, him at weddings? The best. His wife says he gets weird? Nah nah nah, he gets fun,"
The full episode of the podcast can be found here . The episode features former Royals Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas and Peter Moylan, along with former pro sports mental performance coach, Justin Su'a as hosts, and Pasquantino as the featured guest.
