With two on and two out in the bottom of the second inning, Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Tyler Alexander was looking for a way to get out of a jam at Coors Field. Thanks to some quick reflexes, the left-hander did just that.
Facing Brenton Doyle of the Colorado Rockies, Alexander made a behind-the-back catch to end the inning and robbed Doyle of an RBI single.

The catch not only kept the game scoreless through the first two innings, but also extended what has been a magical run as of late for the Brewers.
After starting the season 0-4 and giving up 11.75 runs per game, Milwaukee pitching has helped lead the Brewers to wins in six of their last seven games while opponents have scored just 2.57 runs per game during that stretch.
Alexander was part of that success, throwing 5.2 hitless and scoreless innings in a start on Friday against the Cincinnati Reds.
While Alexander's catch on Wednesday drew plenty of attention on the highlight reels, it also seemed to spark the Brewers. Coming to bat after Alexander's snag ended the Rockies' scoring threat, Milwaukee plated five runs against Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela, giving the Brewers the early lead.
