The UFC White House card could be close to confirming its first fight, with Conor McGregor at the helm of the rumors.
Dana White has promised that the UFC White House card will be the best in company history, but will the card be complete without McGregor's presence? Good news for fans of the Irishman has surfaced as it's more likely he will be involved with each passing day.
While news about the event is still scarce, Conor McGregor has fueled rumors of his appearance on June 14, 2026.
"I'm coming back with the White House," McGregor said regarding his return to combat sports. "I'm having fun with all this [BKFC promotion], but I'm under no illusion."
"I'm helping them, building up the guys. Getting the fighters raised up, getting the profile raised up, doing what I'm here for. But my comeback for mixed martial arts is paramount for me."
Rumors of a fight against Michael Chandler have persisted for Conor McGregor. The pair were set to meet in the headlining bout of UFC 303 before 'The Notorious' was forced to pull out with a broken toe.
Though nothing has been confirmed, McGregor's ideal opponent at the White House would be Chandler.
"I'd love it to be Chandler," McGregor continued. "It is [verbally] signed."
"Something good is coming was what [the UFC] said."
Neither man has enjoyed much success inside the cage of late, with the two having a combined 0-5 record in their last five fights.
While the clash is unlikely to have any serious title implications, one thing between them is promised: an action-packed affair.
Both men are considered among the most fun fighters to watch under the UFC banner. Couple that with both McGregor and Chandler being fast starters, and the UFC White House event has the first of a possible many must-watch matchups.
“I'm coming back with the White House. I'm having fun with all this, but I'm under no illusion… my comeback for mixed martial arts is paramount.
