Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall fight 'going to happen'

Despite the many doubts surrounding the rumored Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall fight, Dana White has remained certain that a deal could be struck between all parties.

While the heavyweight division is stacked with killers all aiming to get their hands on UFC gold, there is only one fight the fans will accept at the top of the weight class. If 'Bones' doesn't defend his throne against interim champion Aspinall, hell will erupt throughout the MMA world—though luckily, that doesn't sound like a possibility.

During a recent interview, Dana White revealed that fans shouldn't worry about the status of the potential title fight as he confirms it will eventually happen.

"The fight's going to happen," White said regarding the Jones vs. Aspinall fight. "The fight's going to happen."

"It's just a matter of when now and getting it signed and done and the fight will happen."

White continued.

"It's done but it's not done. Not done enough to sit right here now and announce it and give you a date but the fight's going to happen."

"It's just a matter of getting it signed now... I've said it many times in between and I will say it again now, the fight's going to happen."
