Brad Keselowski Makes Personal Announcement Before Daytona 500

On Thursday morning before the Duels, Brad Keselowski announced that he and wife Paige are expecting their fourth child.

During one of the busiest weekends of the NASCAR season, the 2012 Cup Series champion posted on social media a photo of his three children holding photos of an ultrasound.

Chuckling, he connected the announcement and race weekend together. Kyle Dalton asked that since drivers don’t fear speeds nearing 200 mph, what do they fear?

“You’ll get a chuckle out of this,” said Keselowski to Athlon Sports. “So, I have three kids. My youngest two, one is five and one is one, every once in a while, they will get in the shower together, and my one-year-old will lose control of his bowels, and I will hear them yelling, ‘Dad!’ And that’s when I’m like, ‘Oh no. I’ve got to go clean up the shower.’

“That is, right now, my number one fear.”

For the Keselowski’s, they announced their pregnancy with their first child, Scarlett, on Feb. 4, 2015. A year later, Brad and Paige got engaged and then wed on Feb. 10, 2017. In 2019, they had their second daughter, Autumn. In November 2023, Paige gave birth to their first son, Maize. Keselowski was able to be present for his birth, while competing in the Championship race at Phoenix Raceway the following day.

Fittingly, their next child will expand their family to six.

The baby announcement also comes a day after Brad’s 41st birthday.

Last night, Brad qualified 16th in Round 1 for the 67th Daytona 500. He will start eighth in Duel #2 tonight, scheduled to wave the green flag at 8:45 p.m. ET on FS1. His finishing position will determine his final starting spot in Sunday’s 200 lap feature.
