The Xfinity Series is heading to Miami to run the Hard Rock Bet 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The sixth race of the 2025 season and one of the best races of the season, here is everything you need to know for Saturday’s race.
The Xfinity Series is racing in Miami! The Hard Rock Bet 300 gets underway on Saturday, March 22nd. Can Austin Hill make it 2 wins in a row at Homestead and Chevrolet five in a row? Or can Ford get their first win of the season and first win at Homestead since 2021? Toyota has one win this season and hasn’t won here since 2020, can they change that? But look out, Kyle Larson is looking to sweep the weekend across all three series.
The Hard Rock Bet 300 is a 300-mile, 200-lap race around the 1.5-mile speedway in Homestead, Florida. The stage breaks will come at laps 45 and 90, and the final lap will be on lap 200.
Built in 1993 and opened in 1995, the Homestead-Miami Speedway is a 1.5-mile progressively banked oval track. With 18 degrees on the bottom line and 20 degrees against the fence, Homestead is a fan and driver’s favorite track, ripping the fence and the options with grooves, gives fans exciting options.
Dale Jarrett won the first Xfinity(then Busch) series race here in 1995. Joe Nemechek has the most Xfinity wins here with three, and a tie for second with five different drivers. Cole Custer set the track record in 2018 with a 32.59-second lap.
Here are the points standings for the Xfinity Series following Las Vegas:
1. Justin Allgaier: 200
2. Jesse Love: 181
3. Sam Mayer: 170
4. Austin Hill: 160
5. Sammy Smith 8 5 0 156 -44 4 0 0 0
6. Aric Almirola 19 3 5 151 -49 5 1 1 0
7. Sheldon Creed: 144
8. Taylor Gray*: 137

Kyle Larson is looking to make history, joining Kyle Busch as the only driver to sweep a weekend. He is racing the #17 Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports. He is one of the best at Homestead but only has one win in the Xfinity series here, look for him to make it two tomorrow.
Austin Hill wants to go back to back here. Hill has a win this year, Atlanta, and would love to make it two, the most in the series.
Haas Factory Team is looking for their first win since their rebrand. Cole Custer finished 2nd behind Hill in 2024, and Herbst behind Sam Mayer in 2023. This year, Sam Mayer is racing for Haas and is itching for his first win with Ford. Look for Mayer and Haas to have some speed.
Toyota has not won here since 2020 with Harrison Burton. Corey Heim is in the field, driving a Sam Hunt-prepared Toyota with engineering help from 23XI. I think Heim could take home the trophy for Toyota.
The Hard Rock Bet 300 will take place on Saturday, March 21st. Raceday begins with practice at 10:30 AM Eastern, coverage is on the CW. Practice will roll into qualifying, starting at 11:40 AM, still on the CW. The Hard Rock Bet 300 will start at 3 PM Eastern time.
