The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, 106-103, at home in a tough outcome. Joel Embiid led the way with 27 points and 12 rebounds, but the Raptors still managed to get the win on the road.
On Wednesday, the 76ers face the Brooklyn Nets on the road in the team's final game before the NBA All-Star Break.
Unfortunately, the 76ers will be down a few players for the showdown in Brooklyn, as Keith Pompey reported.
"Sixers center Joel Embiid (left knee), reserve guard Eric Gordon (right wrist) and reserve point guard Kyle Lowry (right hip) will miss tonight's game vs. the Brooklyn Nets," Pompey wrote on X.
The 76ers have lost four in a row and six of their last seven to drop to 20-33 on the season.
Entering Wednesday, they are in 11th in the Western Conference, just one game ahead of the Nets.

Embiid made his return on Feb. 4 after missing a month due to a knee issue. Gordon and Lowry did not play on Tuesday night against the Raptors.
Embiid, 30, has played just 17 games this season for the 76ers, and a report came out during Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks that he could be headed for another surgery after the season ends.
The 76ers will return from the All-Star Break on February 20 against the Boston Celtics at home, so it will be worth monitoring to see how Embiid feels after the time away.
