USC Trojans alum Bronny James erupted for 39 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals in a 122-118 victory for the South Bay Lakers over the Santa Cruz Warriors.

While the Los Angeles Lakers started a pivotal four game road trip on Monday, Lebron's eldest son was assigned to the G league, taking full advantage of the increased playing time and usage.

This marked Bronny's third 30+ point game in the G league, showing that he has what it takes to thrive in the NBA. Coming off of a 17-point showing against the Milwaukee Bucks last week, Bronny now has a multitude of masterpiece performances to build off of.

What made Bronny's performance so special tonight was how incredibly efficient he shot the ball, shooting 14/21 from the field and 4/8 from three-point range. His ability to rack up other stats is a testament to his all-around game.

After receiving significant buzz throughout his rookie season, everything is starting to come together for Bronny, who continues to develop and get better with each rep.

As the Lakers prepare for a playoff push this spring, developing Bronny could pay significant dividends for them down the road. He looks like he can become a significant piece for the Lakers franchise in the long run.

A plethora of NBA fans believed that Bronny didn't deserve to be in the NBA and that his entry was a result of nepotism. After seeing his 39-point offensive explosion on Monday night, many will start to change their mind.
