The Detroit Pistons are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder.
Detroit enters Wednesday’s contest having won six of their last 10 games but they are coming off a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
Of course, their loss to Minnesota was overshadowed by the brawl that took place during the game that resulted in three Pistons players being suspended for Wednesday’s game against Oklahoma City.
Because of this, Wednesday’s game will be even tougher for the Pistons as they face off against a Thunder team that has won 10 consecutive games and has lost to an Eastern Conference team just once this season.
To make matters worse for the Pistons, they will likely once again be without their star point guard Cade Cunningham as they have listed him as doubtful due to a calf injury.
Cade Cunningham (left calf contusion) is doubtful tomorrow at OKC. Would be his fifth-straight absence.

Cunningham has missed Detroit’s last four games due to a left calf strain and he is expected to miss his fifth straight contest on Wednesday against the Thunder.
This is a massive blow for the Pistons who will already be shorthanded due to their suspended players and they will likely be without their best player once again.
Of course, Cunningham has had a breakout season thus far that has him as the favorite to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player award.
This season, the 23-year-old guard is averaging 25.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 46.2% from the field and 35.4% from three-point range.
With Cunningham expected to be sidelined once again, Dennis Schroder should continue to fill in for him in the starting lineup and Malik Beasley should also see an increased role, especially with Marcus Sasser suspended for Wednesday’s game.
Fans can catch Wednesday’s matchup between the Pistons and Thunder at 9:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
