Davion Mitchell helped the Miami Heat erase a big fourth-quarter deficit in Game 2. Then Donovan Mitchell closed out the game for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After the Miami Heat got a 13-point Cavaliers lead down to just two points, Donovan Mitchell scored eight points in a row and 10 in five Cleveland possessions to help his team secure a 121-112 win and a 2-0 series lead. He finished with 30 points, with 17 of them coming in the fourth quarter after a slow start.
The Cavaliers needed the offensive flurry from their All-Star guard because the Heat got 14 fourth-quarter points from Davion Mitchell, acquired as a throw-in in the midseason Jimmy Butler trade. Mitchell is known for his defense, but he's found his scoring touch in the postseason.

Once again, the Cavaliers guards targeted Miami's Tyler Herro, who finished with 33 points but was hunted on defense. Darius Garland scored 21 points on just 14 shots, racking up nine assists. After the game, Garland told reporters the Cavaliers succeeded in their plan to "pick on Tyler Herro."

But the real damage to the Heat came from the Cavaliers simply shooting the lights out. They went 22-of-45 from three-point range in the game, setting an NBA playoff record with 11 made threes in the second quarter.

The 37-45 Heat were always going to be massive underdogs against the 64-18 Cavaliers, but in a game where Cleveland shot almost 50 percent from three-point range and got 10 steals to Miami's three, it's incredible that the Heat kept it this close.
The series moves to South Beach on Saturday, but unless the Heat's Mitchell can keep scoring with the Cavaliers' Mitchell, it'll be an uphill battle for Miami to get back in the series.
