While the Phoenix Suns failed to make the 2025 NBA playoffs, Kevin Durant is keeping himself busy this offseason. In fact, he already has an activity planned out.
So far, much of the talk about Durant has been about his future with the Suns. The name of the 15-time All-Star has been thrown in a number of trade rumors, with teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs named as the most likely landing spots for him.
A recent trade idea even proposed for the Suns to send Durant to the Heat in exchange for Kel'el Ware, Duncan Robinson, Terry Rozier, a 2025 first-round pick and a 2030 first-round pick.
As the NBA world looks forward to what he will do next in his career, Durant made a different decision recently.
On Wednesday, Fanatics announced that Durant will be joining the Fanatics Fest NYC.
"That’s right! @easymoneysniper will be joining us again for Fanatics Fest. You don’t wanna miss it," Fanatics wrote on Instagram.
On its website, Fanatics Fest NYC describes the event as the "world’s largest arena for sports and collectibles that brings together die-hard enthusiasts, renowned athletes and passionate collectors for an unparalleled celebration of all things sports, collectibles and pop culture."
The event is scheduled for June 20 through June 22 at the Javits Center in New York.
It's unknown when Kevin Durant will exactly attend the event, but he's not the only superstar athlete set to join the festivities. Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, Jayden Daniels, C.J. Stroud, Allen Iverson and Dwyane Wade are all expected to make an appearance as well.
