Los Angeles Lakers fans have seen the best of Luka Doncic on the court so far in the NBA playoffs, but an unexpected announcement on Thursday generated more excitement to see him in a new light off the court.
Heading into Friday's Game 3 of the Western Conference playoff series between the Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Doncic is leading both teams with a scoring average of 34 points per game in the first two games of the series.
While he has impressed in purple and gold since the blockbuster trade that sent him from the Dallas Mavericks to Los Angeles in February, there is a desire from NBA fans to hear more from Doncic after the life-changing move. They will get that chance this week.
Barstool Sports personality Caleb Pressley posted a video on social media on Thursday announcing the Slovenian superstar as the next guest on his show, "Sundae Conversations."
It will be an opportunity for Doncic to share his perspective with a massive audience. Pressley's show has over 1 million subscribers on YouTube , featuring episodes with guests from the sports world like Jake Paul, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Floyd Mayweather to name a few.

Pressley's interviews with celebrities like Drake and Druski each gained over 5 million views on YouTube, while Rodgers was the most popular guest (4.7 million views) from the sports world.
He has not featured as many basketball players, but Blake Griffin and Boban Marjanovic are among the most notable NBA personalities to appear on the show. The widespread popularity of Doncic and the Lakers could reach another level of exposure, especially given the timing.
Doncic has been open about his feelings since the Mavericks traded him, but he has not spoken often outside of Lakers media responsibilities during the NBA playoff push.

Meanwhile, narratives have continued from Dallas' side, with general manager Nico Harrison continuing to attempt to justify the unexpected trade, even after the Mavericks got eliminated in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
No matter what Doncic talks about on "Sundae Conversations," there are not many guests that could spark as much excitement as the Lakers No. 77 right now.
