With a few games left in the regular season, the Atlanta Hawks are trying to end with nothing but wins as they are locked into the Play-In race. It has been a journey for the Hawk this year, as they've dealt with injuries and trades that have shaken up the entire roster. Despite those things, they have found themselves in a position to possibly make the playoffs, but they have to get through the Play-In Tournament.
Alongside the Hawks, the Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, and Miami Heat will be a part of the tournament, and two of the four teams will be looking to grab the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in the playoffs.
Unfortunately for the Hawks, they were eliminated from grabbing the Southeast Division crown and the No. 7 seed after the Orlando Magic defeated the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
The Hawks' best chance now is to secure the No. 8 seed, and if they win two of their last three games, they'll be locked in. If they don't take care of business, there's a good chance they could slide to the No. 9 or No. 10 seed, which means it's either win-or-go home for them, or they'll have to play two games to try and advance to the next round.
The Hawks currently have a 0.5-game lead on the Bulls and a 1.5-game lead on the Heat with three games left in the season.
